Exciting Opportunity: Primary School Supply Teacher in South Essex.

Are you a dedicated and passionate educator looking for a flexible teaching opportunity? We have the perfect role for you! Primary school's across Southend, and surrounding areas are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Supply Teacher to join their team across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).

Position: Primary School Supply Teacher
Location: Southend
Contract: Flexible, temporary supply basis

Role Overview: As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining a high standard of education in the absence of regular classroom teachers. You will engage with students across various year groups, ensuring a smooth continuation of learning and ensuring a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons in accordance with the curriculum guidelines.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Providing feedback and guidance to students on their work.
  • Collaborating with teaching assistants and support staff.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Must be a UK Resident 
  • Experience working with primary school students in EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Must have a DBS registered on the Update Service (We can help you obtain this)
  • Adaptability and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Passion for inspiring and motivating young learners.

Daily rate: £125 - £ 140 (dependant on experience and qualifications)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
