Primary School Supply Teacher

Primary School

Location - Caerphilly

Full time - Monday to Friday (8:30 - 3:30)

Pay rate - £157.66 per day

Start date - 8th April 2024

We are currently looking for a Supply Teacher to join the team in a Primary School based in Caerphilly. The school has the hope to create an ethos of high standards and to provide caring and friendly surroundings where pupils will be happy safe and secure.

In this role you will have full control of your dairy and your working day, you will be a part of a small team that will welcome you in with open arms and make you feel part of the team immediately.

We are looking for a teacher with a few years' experience working with children with younger children and for someone that understands the Welsh Government Curriculum for Wales and is able to slot into the school and start productive work immediately.

Job responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver inclusive lessons to children within your classes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with children, parents and staff across the school.
  • Organise and mark children's work
  • Track progress of the class with their work but also keep track of friendships being made within the class and support this throughout the school day.
  • Ensure to create a safe and comfortable learning environment for all students.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate
  • EWC Registration
  • Experience working with younger children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
