Primary PPA Teacher in Woolwich

Teaching Personnel is very excited to present a great opportunity for a PPA Teacher at a two-form entry primary school based less than ten minutes from Woolwich Arsenal station. The school are looking for an experienced teacher with excellent behaviour/classroom management to start in September on a part-time basis (four days a week also considered) covering across all year groups.

The school is a diverse and inclusive two-form entry primary school situated in the Greenwich borough near the boundaries of Plumstead. The school is wonderfully diverse, comprised of pupils from a wide range of nations, ethnicities and cultures. Pupils have many creative outlets including Spanish and learning to play a musical instrument. There are numerous extra-curricular activities including residential visits. The school is fortunate to be sufficiently resourced to be able to bring in additional staff for the extended curriculum and so staff workload remains generally low and well managed.

There is a number of support staff in the school deployed effectively across all year groups to support learning. Teachers are ambitious and determined that every pupil should achieve well and this is well reflected by the pupils working hard and concentrating well in lessons.
