Salary: £120 - £180 per day (depending on experience)

Job Description:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Primary PE Teacher to work in primary schools within the S10 area of Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and motivate children through physical education, promoting healthy lifestyles and teamwork.

Whether you’re looking for a full-time PE role across schools or part-time delivery within a school’s sports programme, we can match your skills to the right placement.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Lead a variety of sports and physical activities that encourage participation and physical development
  • Promote the importance of fitness, well-being, and team spirit
  • Support class teachers during non-PE lessons where required
  • Organise and assist with sports events and extra-curricular activities
  • Adapt sessions to meet the needs of pupils with SEND or differing ability levels

Requirements:

  • QTS or relevant sports coaching qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 in Sports Coaching or PGCE PE)
  • Experience teaching or coaching children in a school or club environment
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Passion for sport, health, and inspiring young minds
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
  • References covering the last 2 years
