Job Title: Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher
Location: Sheffield S10
Employer: Teaching Personnel
Salary: £120–£180 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025 (earlier start available)
Contract Type: Full-Time
Contract Duration: Initially temporary, with potential for long-term or permanent position


About the Role:

  • Full-time class teacher for a Year 1 or Year 2 class (based on experience and preference)
  • Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Supporting the school’s ethos of inclusion, wellbeing, and high achievement

Candidate Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – ECTs welcome to apply!
  • Recent KS1 teaching experience or placement
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and phonics (Letters and Sounds / Little Wandle / Read Write Inc. experience beneficial)
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
