Job Title: KS1 Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S10 Area)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Temporary
Salary: £120 - £160 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP/September


Job Description:

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a committed and passionate KS1 Teacher to join welcoming and high-performing primary schools in the S10 area of Sheffield. Covering a KS1 class in a supportive and collaborative school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in accordance with the KS1 curriculum
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress and development
  • Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and leadership teams
  • Engage in school-wide activities and contribute to the wider school community
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching in KS1, ideally in a UK classroom setting
  • Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for all learners
  • Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service (or willing to apply)
  • Two professional references from recent teaching roles

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
