PPA Teacher needed in ‘GOOD’ Primary School, Carnforth (LA5)

Are you a committed Primary Teacher looking for a new experience for the remainder of the academic year and into September 2023?

 Would you like to cover PPA lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in a vibrant and friendly 2-form entry mainstream Primary School?

Teaching Personnel are working with a recently rated ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted Primary School in Carnforth. The school’s headteacher and leading staff members are looking to attract a primary trained teacher to cover PPA lessons across the school.

The successful teacher will hold themselves to a high standard of practice and this will reflect onto the progress the children they teach will make with their social and academic development. The school are looking for an individual who has excellent classroom behaviour management skills and will be adaptable to working with children in various year groups across the school.

The school is located within close distance to public transport and has onsite parking available for all staff members.

The role:

-        8:30-15:30, Mon-Fri.

-        June start.

-        Running until the end of the academic year with the potential to go into a permanent role in September.

The Criteria:

-        Have worked in UK Primary schools.

-        Taught across the Key Stages 1 and 2 and ideally EYFS.

-        Can adapt to new situations quickly.

-        Hold QTS, an enhanced Child DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
