PPA Teacher (Full‑Time)

Start Date: September 2026
Location: Preston (PR2)
Pay: £120 – £160 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full‑time

We are seeking a confident and adaptable Full‑Time PPA Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Preston (PR2) from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety and is comfortable working across the full primary age range.

The Role

  • Deliver pre‑planned PPA cover lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Provide engaging and effective teaching across a range of year groups
  • Maintain positive behaviour and consistent classroom routines
  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning

Previous experience working as a PPA Teacher is desirable but not essential, as support will be provided by the school.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Confident teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Fully inducted teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply
  • Flexible, organised, and adaptable
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
