Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of Primary School in Blackpool (FY6). The school are looking for an Early Years Teacher to join their EYFS department on a full-time basis starting after in the new academic year (September 2026). This is a full-time role that will run for a full academic year. The opportunity to work onto a school-based contract may also be possible for the right person.

The role is to work in a two-form entry primary school in Blackpool. The school are looking for ECT who specialises in teaching in the Early Years, to lead one of the reception classes through all areas of learning. The school are dedicated to promoting ‘empathy, respect and understanding’ for all children at all times. The Head Teacher and senior leaders of the school are looking for a dedicated Teacher who is able to encourage learning for all children whilst promoting a creative and engaging learning environment for each child.  

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to complete their ECT terms. The role will run for 1 full year initially, with the opportunity for extension.

To be considered for this post, you must:

Hold QTS 

Have a sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and experience working in the Early Years 

- Be a dedicated Teacher looking to enhance your career in education 

This larger than average primary school was graded ‘GOOD’ at its most recent OFSTED inspection. The Head Teacher is looking for a dedicated ECT who is keen to begin their career in a supportive environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
