Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable PPA Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Ribbleton, Preston from September 2026.

This exciting opportunity involves providing PPA cover across Key Stage 2, delivering high-quality lessons in a variety of non-core subjects. The Role

As the school's PPA Teacher, you will work across a range of KS2 classes, delivering engaging lessons while ensuring continuity of learning during teachers' release time.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 2.
• Teaching a range of non-core curriculum subjects.
• Building positive relationships with pupils across multiple year groups.
• Working closely with class teachers to ensure smooth transitions between lessons.
• Monitoring pupil engagement and providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Upholding the school's high expectations for behaviour and learning.
• Collaborating effectively with colleagues across the school.

As part of the role, you will also be allocated your own PPA release time, allowing you the opportunity to prepare resources and fulfil wider teaching responsibilities effectively.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2.

• Has high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
• Is organised, flexible, and proactive in their approach.
