Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Thornton to recruit an enthusiastic and adaptable KS2 Teacher for a part-time position, working 3 days per week from November 2026.

This exciting opportunity will involve providing PPA cover across Key Stage 2, delivering high-quality lessons and ensuring continuity of learning across multiple year groups.

The Role

The successful candidate will work across KS2 classes, covering teachers' Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining positive classroom environments, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

This role would suit an experienced teacher or a confident ECT looking to broaden their experience across Key Stage 2.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum.
  • Be confident teaching across different year groups.
  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that support pupil progress.
  • Have excellent classroom management skills.
  • Be adaptable, organised, and able to build positive relationships quickly.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
