Year 2 Teacher – Part Time (3 Days per Week)

Start Date: After October Half Term
⏰ Part Time – 3 Days per Week (Days to be agreed based on the successful candidate's availability)
We are currently recruiting for a fully qualified Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Rawtenstall.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to inspire and support pupils in Key Stage 1. The successful candidate will join a committed staff team, delivering engaging lessons that help children thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
- Deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management
- Be passionate about helping every child reach their full potential
- Use effective assessment to support pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
- Create a positive, nurturing and stimulating learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
