We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated qualified teacher to join our team as a Part-Time Intervention Teacher from October. This rewarding role will focus on delivering high-quality phonics and early reading interventions, ensuring that every child develops the skills and confidence to become a successful reader.

Working closely with our English Lead, SENDCo, and class teachers, you will provide targeted support for pupils who require additional help to keep up with age-related expectations. Your work will play a vital role in improving reading outcomes and fostering a lifelong love of reading.

The Role

As our Intervention Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed phonics and early reading interventions for individuals and small groups.
• Assess pupils' reading and phonics knowledge, identifying barriers to learning and planning effective next steps.
• Support children in developing fluency, decoding, comprehension, and confidence in reading.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to ensure interventions complement classroom learning.
• Monitor and evaluate pupil progress, adapting teaching to maximise impact.
• Contribute to the school's commitment to raising standards in early literacy
