Physical Education Graduate

Full-time Physical Education Graduate required for a 'Good' graded Roman Catholic secondary school based in Wigan. Due to an open vacancy within the Physical Education faculty, our client secondary school are seeking to appoint a full-time Physical Education Graduate to work within the PE department with immediate effect. This position is guaranteed until the end of the academic year in the first instance, and could result in a permanent position from September 2019.

• Full-time PE Graduate position with the school looking to appoint as a matter of urgency.
• Expected earnings of approximately £1250 per month.
• 'Good' graded Roman Catholic secondary school based in Wigan.
• Guaranteed position until the end of the academic year, with the opportunity to secure a permanent post.
• Providing support within PE lessons and covering PE lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

This opportunity is available for Physical Education Graduates who wish to gain further experience working alongside pupils aged 11-16 and will be the perfect preparation for future teaching roles.

During your time at school, you will take on a number of responsibilities which will be essential in order to help the Physical Education department operate effectively;

Responsibilities will include;

• Covering lessons within the Physical Education department in the absence of the class teacher.
• Providing general classroom support and working closely with the class teacher.
• Supporting students through their coursework and providing additional support to identified pupils.

Our client school is of Catholic faith and is located in Wigan. The school currently has approximately 1000 pupils on roll which is larger than the average school in the area, and was graded 'Good' in their most recent Ofsted report. Situated near to the centre of Wigan, the school can be accessed via the A580 (East Lancashire Road).
