Phonics TA

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a client school in the Blackley area of Manchester (M8) to recruit a TA to join their lovely Year 1 class. This position will be on a part time basis, working 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. It will begin on Monday 6^th September 2021, continuing for the remainder of the academic year.

Prior experience working with primary aged children is beneficial, as the successful candidate will be expected to deliver smaller group sessions, as well as general classroom support. These sessions of around 4-5 pupils will be utilised to focus on Phonics, therefore knowledge of phonics and experience using schemes such a ‘Jolly Phonics’ is essential to this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
