The Headteacher and SENCO of a reputable Primary School in Preston are on the look out for an Intervention Teacher to work closely alongside the EYFS and KS1 team to plan and deliver targeted interventions aimed at improving Phonics, Reading and Writing. This role will be based in school and all social distancing measures are in place.

This is a unique role and would be well suited to an experienced teacher who is specifically looking for a part time teaching commitment. To be considered for this role, candidates must be confident delivering high quality phonics interventions. Candidates must be confident tracking pupil progress and liaising with class teachers and the school SENCO. This is a new role in school and is to begin as soon as possible, it is likely this role will continue into the 2022/23 academic year following success of the interventions.

To be considered you must have:

-          UK QTS.

-          Experience of working in EYFS and/or KS1.

-          Excellent Literacy and Phonics knowledge.

-          Immediate availability to work five afternoons per week 17.5 hours per week (3.5 hours per day).

-          Enthusiasm and creativity that will inspire children to learn and be the best they can be.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
