Job Title: Full-Time Physical Education (PE) Teacher

Location: Luton

Are you a passionate and dedicated Physical Education (PE) professional looking for a rewarding opportunity to inspire and shape the next generation of athletes? We are seeking a dynamic and qualified PE Teacher to join our vibrant partner Secondary School, located in the heart of Luton.

Position Overview: As a Full-Time PE Teacher, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering an engaging PE curriculum that fosters a love for physical activity and promotes overall well-being. You will be responsible for planning and implementing lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students, creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-quality PE lessons that align with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Organize and oversee extracurricular sports activities, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the school's physical education program.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a PE Teacher, with a track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and a commitment to staying informed about developments in the field of PE education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for promoting physical fitness, well-being, and a healthy lifestyle among students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
