Our client schools wishes to appoint a PE curriculum specialist to deliver PE lessons and run sports clubs and organise/attend events with our children. The post will require the planning and delivery of high quality PE lessons to children in KS2, five afternoons a week covering teacher’s PPA time- three classes will be taught each afternoon. These four afternoons alongside an additional afternoon (for planning, preparation and coaching) will be paid competitively on a supply basis. In addition to PPA cover the post holder will be required to plan and run extra-curricular sports clubs and organise the participation in a wide variety of sporting events across the city (including communicating with parents, organising transport to events etc). Temporary until July 2017 due to staff restructuring and budget restraints, however there is a strong possibility the PPA element of the post will become permanent. A specialist coaching qualification or similar or a teaching qualification is required.
