PE Cover Supervisor- Secondary school- Warrington

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of our partner secondary school located in Warrington to recruit for a PE Cover Supervisor on a long term basis.

Due to a permanent member of staff leaving their internal cover team, an exciting position has arisen for a PE Cover Supervisor to join the school as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a PE graduate or someone with sports coaching experience to utilise their skillset within a secondary school environment.

Overview;

• To deliver pre-set work (both theoretical and practical) within the PE department in the absence of the teachers.
• To effectively engage pupils within PE lessons
• Ensuring high levels of safety at all times during practical lessons.
• To build effective rapport with pupils whilst maintaining high levels of discipline at all times.
• To cover in other subject areas across the school whenever necessary.

Our partner school is high achieving where the pupils display good behaviour and are respectful to staff. All of this cultivates a positive learning atmosphere which makes it an ideal environment to work in.

It is located close to the town centre of Warrington making it accessible for those on public transport also. It is also only a short drive away from the areas of Culcheth, Lowton and Golborne.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
