SEN Inclusion & Pastoral Support Roles
Bolton, Bury & Salford | September 2026 Start
We are seeking a strong, committed education professional to support schools across Bolton, Bury and Salford, working within SEN inclusion and alternative/provision settings from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for inclusive education, pastoral care, and behaviour support, who thrives on making a meaningful difference to the lives of young people.
The Role
You will work closely with schools to provide targeted support within:
- SEN inclusion teams
- Alternative / provisional provision
- Pastoral leadership structures
Opportunities may include:
- Head of Year
- Pastoral Lead / Pastoral Support
- Inclusion or Behaviour Support roles
Assignments may be long‑term or transitional, supporting schools during periods of change, growth, or increased need.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs
- Demonstrates strong pastoral leadership and relationship‑building skills
- Is resilient, adaptable, and confident working across different school settings
- Has experience managing behaviour and supporting attendance, wellbeing, and engagement
- Holds QTS or relevant school‑based experience (essential for leadership roles)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
