Behaviour Support Assistant – Full Time
Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester
Contract: Full time, long-term
We are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Assistant to support within a specialist SEMH provision.
The Role
This role involves supporting pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support to engage with learning.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
- De-escalating challenging situations
- Supporting pupils to follow routines
- Acting as a positive role model
- Working alongside teaching and pastoral staff
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviour
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Calm and resilient approach
- Ability to build rapport with pupils
- Full-time availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
