Part-Time Year 3 PPA Class Teacher

Teaching Personnel is currently working alongside an 'Outstanding' Primary School in North Sheen, Richmond Upon Thames. The school require a Key Stage 2 Teacher to start immediately in a part-time PPA position (Thursday's and Friday's), to teach a broad based curriculum to the assigned class, be responsible for a designated classroom/teaching area and associated resources, and use the allocated PPA time to plan effective lessons which have clear teaching aims, objectives, and lesson content.

The Summer Curriculum consists of the following subjects:

  • Vikings,
  • We are Web Developers,
  • Fairtrade,
  • Islam,
  • London and The Thames,
  • Habitats and Space.

The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher with secure experience and a passion for ensuring very high quality provision for pupils, a flexible and adaptable team member with excellent communication and organisational qualities, and committed to the schools ethos to nurture every child to be the best they can be'.

In July 2015, Ofsted recognised the school as an 'outstanding school'. Inspectors stated that "Achievement is outstanding because pupils make exceptional progress throughout the school", and "Pupils' behaviour is impeccable. Their extremely positive attitudes to learning have a strong impact on the progress they make." Located in North Sheen, the surrounding area offers fantastic transport links from Richmond, Kew and Mortlake. Outdoor learning is encouraged with the school's close proximity to Richmond Park and Kew.

Teaching Personnel is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children. In order to work through Teaching Personnel, you must:

- Have QTS or equivalent.

- Have current DBS on the Update Service or be willing to get one (full assistance provided).

- Be able to provide 2 references covering 6 years.
