Job description

Part-time KS1 Teacher - Nelson (BB9)

Start date - June 2024

Pay rate: £140 - £180 per day

This school is based in the Nelson, East Lancashire area (BB9) and are currently looking for a KS1 Teacher to work 3 days a week, starting in June 2024 with the opportunity of a permanent contract. The school allows teachers to offer creative elements to their lessons and teaching practices. Pupils' achievement and student behaviour are both good and improving. The schools aim is to be a place of excellence and help their learners to achieve their best - socially, personally and academically.

Requirements and Expectations for the role:

  • Recognised teaching qualification (QTS)
  • Relevant KS1 or KS2 teaching experience
  • High expectations for all students and the determination to help all children succeed
  • The ability to work effectively in a team of teachers, support staff and outside agencies
