Part time SEN teaching assistant - Bury

A lovely and warm primary school in Prestwich, Bury is looking for a Level 3 teaching assistant to work in the reception class. This role will involve supporting a child on a 1:1 basis with an educational health care plan.

The Head teacher is looking for a flexible and nurturing teaching assistant to work on a part time basis starting as soon as possible. This role will likely carry on until the end of the academic year the successful candidate.

A successful primary school applicant should:

  • Be creative, enthusiastic and engaging
  • Have previous experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Be flexible and adaptableThe school has a large percentage of pupils with English as an additional language with over 20 different languages spoken within the school.

This is a happy and vibrant Prestwich primary school with excellent transport links.

The Bury primary school is larger than average and is an inclusive and happy school which focuses on ensuring all their pupils are happy, safe and reach their individual potential. It not only aims to develop positive attitudes to the pupils in school and to the communities they contribute too.
