Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Science Teacher (Part-Time) – NG5 Area
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: 3 days per week (Monday–Wednesday)
Location: Near NG5, Nottingham
Duration: Until February half-term 2026 (with potential extension)

Are you an inspiring and dedicated Science Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role in the new year?
We are working with a welcoming secondary school near NG5 seeking a passionate Science specialist to join their team three days per week from January 2026.

About the Role

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 experience desirable.

  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum.

  • Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and enthusiasm for Science.

  • Work collaboratively with a supportive department to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.

About You

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Have recent experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 advantageous).

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge.

  • Committed to inspiring students and helping them achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
