Are you a passionate Teacher of English looking for work in the new academic year?

If so, the Head of English is urgently looking to appoint a strong Teacher of English to join her supportive department in September. You will be covering a maternity leave, with the possibility for temporary contract to go permanent.

The school is Ofsted graded 'Good' and is located in heart of Chorley, with accessible transport links. The school has 'Outstanding' behaviour and has very high expectations of teachers; therefore you must be a strong, professional and creative Teacher of English.

The successful candidate will be expected to: plan creative and engaging lessons, deliver the new English Curriculum, manage the behaviour of pupils in, and outside the classroom, liaise and support other staff within school and work with pupils across KS3& 4.

NQTs will be considered for this role!

Applicants MUST:

  • Hold a valid PGCE
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Have relevant teaching experience
  • Hold a Degree in English or a relevant subject
