Full time PE teaching role in OFSTED rated GOOD Secondary School in Windsor starting in September 2020  

Teaching Personnel are working with a excellent Secondary School in Windsor who are seeking a full time PE teacher starting from September on a long term contract.

The School are seeking an excellent PE teacher that will be teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 PE with some cover subjects in the timetable. There will be minimal planning and preparation required and the role is mainly just delivering the contents of the work set. The School are looking for a PE teacher that has good management skills in the classroom and is gets on well with students and staff. This excellent Secondary School in Windsor is a mixed Secondary School with around 850 students in total. The School was OFSTED rated as a GOOD School in it's last inspection and continues to perform highly. The School comes with an excellent reputation to work in and for students to learn in where students are well behaved and respectful. Having built a reputation for achieving academic excellence, the Head Teacher together with the successful Senior Leadership Team look to recruit staff who can not only help to maintain this but continue to push their students to achieve more successes. This is a friendly and happy school that has high expectations for both learning and behaviour. Alongside providing students with a well-balanced education, the staff aim to develop their self-respect, tolerance and intellectual curiosity.

The candidate:

Deliver high quality PE lessons in Key Stage 3 and 4 and building a strong relationship with students and colleagues.  Monitor pupil progress for PE lessons, keeping records that include assessment outcomes and targets for PE and set at regular intervals in line with school policy, to enable all pupils to reach their full potential Support the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of pupils through both classroom teaching and in the role of Form Tutor (This vacancy will open up doors to other opportunities around the school/area if you wish)

Experience of teaching PE curriculum and the desire to join and become part of a successful PE department
