Outreach Worker

Teaching Personnel has been contacted by a school in Nelson who are in need of an Outreach Worker to raise aspirations of the children within their school. The school caters for children with SEND including: MLD to PMLD and ASC. The school has a clear and targeted approach to lifelong learning and has high expectations for all of their students.

The ideal candidate must be passionate about helping those with SEND integrate, seamlessly, into the community and get the best experience out of their time in education. A candidate must have excellent communication skills, be engaging and be able to set realistic goals for students.

This role is open to be part-time (at least 3 days a week) or full-time depending on the preference of the right candidate.

Pay starts at GBP10 per hour, but may be higher depending on experience.
