Tutor role in Withernsea/care setting/part time 

This role is working 1:1 in a care setting in Withernsea supporting a secondary age student. Ability to teach functional skills English and Maths will be helpful but you must be able to cater to students individual SEMH or SEN needs. This is a part time role starting at 2 hours with the opportunity to increasehours.

Making the transition to 1:1 tutor will also allow you to have more time to yourself and family – the amount of paperwork is minimised; you can control your own hours & schedule and accept as much or as little work as desired

Who Are We Looking For:

  • Tutors experienced working with students who require emotional support
  • Tutors confident communicating with local authorities and care home staff 
  • Ability to plan, produce and deliver sessions in Functional Skills English or Maths

Requirements:

  • Teaching with QTS or tutoring/TA experience (Non QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs
  • Valid DBS on the update service (able to apply through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
