Outdoor Learning Support Assistant – Full Time | September Start | South Brent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full Time
Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and resilient Outdoor Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist education setting in South Brent from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support children and young people with additional needs through outdoor and practical learning experiences. The Role
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in outdoor learning activities.
- Encourage engagement through practical, hands-on learning both on and off-site.
- Help pupils develop confidence, resilience and independence.
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
- Support students with social, emotional and behavioural needs where required.
- Work Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational, childcare, youth work or support setting.
- A passion for outdoor learning and active education.
- A calm, patient and positive approach to supporting pupils with additional needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is desirable due to the location.
- Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
