Online 1:1 Tutor
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
We are seeking teachers and tutors who are looking for work providing tuition to pupils with additional educational needs delivering sessions to pupils within a range of subjects. Teaching Personnel are partners with Bramble who have designed a specialised online platform for tutors to deliver lessons to pupils in a safe online environment.
We have schools across Berkshire with pupils who require additional educational needs. These reasons include pupils having an EHCP or classified as a ‘looked after pupil’ and require additional learning hours to supplement the education received via their schools.
The online platform which we utilise is Bramble and in our opinion, it is, the world's most advanced online classroom software. Unlike many online collaboration tools, Bramble was built specifically for education. We encourage you to have a look at the Bramble website and see the many benefits for you as the tutor to utilise a platform which has been specifically designed for you!
The benefits for utilising Bramble include:
- Location isn’t an issue; you will be able to conduct work from home without the need to commute fundamentally leading to the opportunity of greater work.
- Sessions are recorded and fully searchable so the student can review them anytime and ensures the sessions are fully safeguarded for the pupils and tutors.
- No-one likes filling out reports. With Bramble, reports are generated automatically.
The role as a tutor with Teaching Personnel is very flexible and we can arrange the tuition to take place around your availability via our online portal where you are in control of when you are available to work. We are looking to complete all necessary vetting checks that need to be completed as soon as possible.
If you want to find out more about this exciting opportunity then please do apply and a member of the Thames Valley team will be in touch to discuss the opportunity further with yourselves!
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
