Job Advert: School Office Manager
Location: East side of Birmingham
Salary: £31,000 - £36,000 per year (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic School Office Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in the smooth running of our school operations. This is a hands-on role that requires someone with strong leadership skills, the ability to manage a diverse team, and a passion for ensuring our school’s administrative functions run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Line Management: Lead, manage, and support a team of administrative staff, including Receptionists and back-office operations personnel.
- Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee the day-to-day administrative tasks within the school, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Safeguarding & Behaviour Administration: Ideally, you will have experience managing safeguarding and/or behaviour administration, ensuring all processes are followed and records are maintained accurately.
- Staff Development: Provide guidance and support to administrative staff, including training and performance management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with school leadership to ensure all school administrative processes are aligned with our educational goals and objectives.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience of line managing a team in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of school administrative operations.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
