Are you an organised, friendly, and professional administrator looking for your next opportunity in education? We are currently seeking enthusiastic School Administrators to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Wakefield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced administrators or individuals with strong office-based experience who are looking to transition into the education sector. As the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff, and visitors, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school.

Your Responsibilities

As a School Administrator, you will:

• Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff
• Manage incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries professionally
• Maintain accurate pupil records and school databases
• Support attendance monitoring and reporting procedures
• Assist with admissions, registrations, and pupil documentation
• Coordinate meetings, appointments, and school events
• Produce letters, reports, and other administrative documents
• Support senior leaders and teaching staff with administrative tasks
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with school policies at all times
• Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the school office

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should:

• Have previous experience in an administrative, receptionist, or office-based role
• Possess excellent organisational and time management skills
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Be confident using Microsoft Office and school management systems (experience with SIMS or Arbor is advantageous)
• Be able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrate professionalism and attention to detail
• Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality
