Role
Teaching Personnel are looking for a Fully Qualified or Newly Qualified Nursery Teacher for a full-time teaching post in Leeds starting this coming November 2018. The school is located in Leeds, LS11 just 10 minutes away from the Leeds City Centre. Public transport route are also easily accessible to the school. Majority of the new in-take of Early Years pupils are school ready however, there are a number of children with suspected SEN, Speech, Language and Communication Needs and EAL. This post will initially be for a 1 year fixed term contract covering a maternity however, there may be other opportunities that arise within the school next year.
Ideal candidate
The school are looking for a:
- Fully qualified or Newly qualified teacher who has recent experience teaching Nursery / EYFS
- Phonics experience
- Available full-time starting from November 2018
- Valid and current DBS
School
The school received 'Good' at its last Ofsted in 2015 and are on their way to get 'Outstanding'. The school currently has 61 new pupils coming into Nursery in the new academic year and 118 pupils in total in Nursery. The school use 'Tapestry' for the EYFS observations as well as Letters & Sounds Phonics. Staff training runs every fortnight on a Wednesday and staff are required to attend.
Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.
These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training. The CPD on offer will assist with your personal and career development, making you the most highly sought candidates in the market.
