Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with an SEN Child in Nursery/ Reception. The role will be full time starting in September, located in the L10 area of Liverpool.
Your duties will include:
- Undertaking tasks set by the class teacher
- Supporting the pupil's learning within the class
- Building up rapport between yourself and the pupil
- Working with the pupil on a 1:1 basis
- Helping the pupil feel comfortable and calm
To apply for this position, you will need:
- Recent experience of working in a Mainstream classroom/or experience of working with children with special educational needs (SEN) in an educational setting
- A strong passion to enhance the development of pupils
- An approachable and positive attitude
- Hold relevant qualifications
- Be confident in working 1:1
- Hold a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
- Be able to commute to the L10 area of Liverpool
- Experience working with EYFS
- Be able to start full time work from September 2019
