Do you have your CACHE Level 3? 

Are you looking to begin a career in a nursery/early years setting?

Are you looking to play a key role in a young person's education?

I am currently working with a private day nursery in Hitchin who require level 3 nursery practitioners/teaching assistants to join them on a full time temporary to permanent basis.  The contract is full time, 20 term time weeks with Teaching Personnel then a permanent contract of employment will be offered if successful within the time frame.

As Nursery Practitioner you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care and education for children attending the nursery, to ensure the individual needs of the children are identified and met along with building positive working relationships with the children, staff, parents and carers. 

You Will Have The Following Experience, Skills And Attributes –

• Have a full and relevant level 3 qualification in Childcare.

• Be an inspiring practitioner with a sound knowledge of child development.

• Be caring and compassionate

• Be proficient in leading the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning.

• Have strong written and verbal communication skills.

 

As Nursery Practitioner responsibilities include –

• Act as designated key person for an allocated number of children.

• Ensure you observe, plan and assess children’s learning and development within the EYFS framework.

• Develop positive partnership with parents.

 

The nursery offers vertivcal grouping to children from 0-3 with a pre school facility also on offer.  Nursery's play a key role in a young persons development as it teaches them, socialising, play learning , sharing and many other habits before beginning school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
