Job description
We are currently seeking a caring, motivated, and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join our welcoming team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and committed to providing high-quality care for young children.
In this position, you will play an important role in supporting children’s learning and development through engaging activities, structured routines, and purposeful play. You will help create a warm, stimulating environment where children feel safe, confident, and encouraged to explore new experiences. Working closely with a supportive team, you will contribute to planning, observations, and maintaining high standards of care across the setting.
You will also build positive relationships with families, ensuring open communication and a consistent approach to each child’s individual needs. Every day will bring something new, and you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference during a crucial stage in children’s early education.
Requirements:
Must hold a Level 2 Childcare qualification (essential)
Experience working with children in an early years or pre-school environment
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Warm, approachable, and enthusiastic attitude
Ability to work well as part of a team and use initiative
A genuine passion for helping children learn and grow
A current DBS check (or willingness to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
