Contract Type: Full-Time (Term-Time Only)
Contract Review: February 2026 (before half term)
Are you a nurturing, energetic, and skilled qualified Nursery Nurse looking for a new role from January?
One of our welcoming Bedford primary schools is seeking an experienced and fully qualified Early Years practitioner (Level 3 or above) to join their thriving Nursery team and support their youngest learners as they begin their education journey.
This school offers a warm, supportive environment where children are encouraged to explore, play, and flourish and they’re looking for someone who can bring creativity, patience, and a deep understanding of early childhood development.
What the school is looking for:
- Level 3+ Early Years qualification (essential)
- Proven experience in a Nursery or Early Years setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
- A calm, positive, and nurturing approach
- Someone proactive, reliable, and confident supporting a busy EYFS team
Your role will include:
- Supporting learning through play and structured activities
- Delivering high-quality care and maintaining a safe, stimulating environment
- Working closely with the class teacher and EYFS lead
- Observing, recording, and feeding back on children’s development
- Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
