About the role: Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for several Tutors in your local area to help disadvantaged pupils who have been especially affected by Coronavirus. This is part of the National Tutoring Programme created by the government. The Tuition Managers at Teaching Personnel will communicate with schools to assess and understand the needs of specific pupils and groups and match the tutors accordingly.

Tutor of NTP

We are delighted to be working with schools in your local area and will be looking for tutors to begin a role in NTP.

NTP is the National tuition programme which offers tutoring to Primary and secondary age children across the UK, helping them thrive and reach their targets.

NTP Tutoring can be done remotely online or face to face. The group sizing will exceed no more than 3 students per session and be delivered on a 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 basis.

The rate of pay will vary depending on group size and will range from £25 to £35 per hour.

Successful candidates will contribute towards a 15 hour block of teaching to help children reach their targets.

Being an NTP tutor is convenient for qualified teachers who are looking to get back into work after periods of time away from teaching and want part time, flexible hours to fit around their responsibilities.

Tutors will be asked to be suitably qualified in the specific subject being taught. You will be an outstanding classroom Teacher with a drive to improve the life chances of young people through education. The role is to develop and implement a successful well sequenced and interleaved curriculum which enables all students to make at least expected progress and provides an enjoyable learning experience for all that goes beyond school life.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
