The school closures may have brought an early end to your placements, but they should not stop you finding a job for September. The NQT Pool from Teaching Personnel gives you access to thousands of potential employers and valuable support as you look to start your teaching career in these unprecedented times. Teaching Personnel works with thousands of schools across England and Wales. Schools trust us to find the right fit for their permanent and temporary vacancies.
Once you have registered with the NQT pool our consultants will build up an in-depth profile of your skills, abilities and personality and discuss your job aspirations.
We then take the profile we have built up (including a short video introduction) and speak to schools looking to recruit NQTs to find the perfect match between you and the school. You then interview with the school via video link and, if everyone is happy, you will be placed for September.
Recently Teaching Personnel held a heads forum to discuss leaders views on recruiting NQTs for September, given vital time and experience lost to the school closures. Inevitably, they are concerned about recruiting lesser experienced NQTs however value their importance of their place in the workforce. As a NQT, you may also have some anxieties over the impact COVID-19 will have on securing your first teaching opportunity. We have partnered with the best practice network to provide NQTs free access to six online support packs & ongoing CPD and resources to ensure your development and learning is not compromised. Support packs include contains six hours of content aligned to both the Teacher Standards and Early Career Framework and are designed to support the practice of Teachers:
- Pedagogy and Practice
- Curriculum
- Assessment
- Behaviour
- SEN
- Professional behaviours
You will also have access to other CPD courses including Mental Wellbeing in Children and Young People, Managing Classroom Behaviour, Mindfulness, Promoting Positive Behaviour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
