£100 - 120 per day

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

Due to the high demand for NQT’s to start long term roles in September 2020, Teaching Personnel are, this year, delighted to introduce the ‘NQT Talent Pool’. This programme has been introduced in order to source Newly Qualified Teachers for schools across Lancashire. Last year we received a high volume of calls from client schools in order to source teachers who had recently completed their teacher training programmes, in order to work on a ‘long term supply contract’ in school, with the potential to apply for a school contract on the successful completion of the role. We are looking to register a ‘pool’ of NQT’s who are looking to source their first teaching position. We have several schools who have expressed an interest in the programme and are hoping to source a candidate through this method.

We are looking for excellent NQTs who are:

• Able to inspire and motivate children by providing high quality teaching and learning experiences, and are enthusiastic and creative in their approach and keen to contribute to our fantastic schools.

• Committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of children able to provide references from teaching placements

The programme will enable you to be considered for work in a range of Secondary schools within the East Lancashire area by simply registering with Teaching Personnel & joining the NQT Talent Pool. The majority of roles will be full time/long term, with the view to completing your NQT induction; working alongside a mentor within school who will support you throughout the year.

The programme makes it easy for NQTs to find their perfect role with one application, leaving you time and energy to finish your training.

The Preston Secondary branch at Teaching Personnel, work in partnership with schools across Blackburn, Burnley, Nelson, Colne and Rawtenstall; providing Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Learning & SEN Support Assistants, and other school-based job opportunities. As of this academic year, a total of 100 schools have working directly with the agency in order to source temporary, long term and permanent staff within Secondary Mainstream Secondary schools.

If you are looking for a single way to apply for your first teaching post, please get in touch with Robert Higginbottom at Teaching Personnel.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
