Teacher of History (NQT opportunity)

Teaching Personnel Ltd are currently working with a small but successful school in Canterbury who require a qualified teacher of history to join the existing and successful department in September 2020.  The school would like to welcome applications from NQTs along with more experienced teachers.

This school have a well established humanities department, which is a popular option at KS4 and KS5 and as a result require a new member of staff to join their team.  The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach KS3 and 4 pupils, with KS5 being offered to the potential candidate should they be able to demonstrate the ability to stretch their pupils learning even further.

A well established and supportive department, NQTs will be inducted into their full programme to ensure they pass their NQT year by July 2021.  You will be assigned an experienced member of the team to support and mentor you throughout the year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
