Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT)
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
The NQT Pool is designed to support any student teachers who have had their training cut short this year as a result of the COVID-19 lockdown measures. If you are looking to secure a role for September, Teaching Personnel are here to make that process as simple as possible for you.
Teaching Personnel’s NQT Pool takes an old idea and makes it work for schools and NQTs across the country during these extraordinary times. Every local authority used to run an NQT pool, where qualifying trainees applied once to be considered by all the schools in the LEA. Teaching Personnel’s pool works on the same principles, but with a specific focus on supporting NQTs who have had their training directly affected by COVID-19.
At this time, we are specifically looking for NQTs able to access schools in the Northamptonshire area.
NQT Pool:
- Greater resources and expertise devoted to both recruiting NQTs and working with schools on your behalf
- Delivery of extra CPD and resources to support candidates who have had their final year of training cut short by the school closures
- Provides a range of options for NQTs to secure September roles
- Reduces the administration of having to apply multiple times for multiple roles
- Peace of mind that a dedicated team of recruitment consultants are working on your behalf with schools in the Northamptonshire area
As well as liaising directly with schools on your behalf, we will also provide members of the Teaching Personnel NQT Pool with free access to six online support packs. Each pack contains six hours of content aligned to both the Teacher Standards and Early Career Framework and are designed to support your practice.
If you are interested in joining Teaching Personnel’s NQT Pool for September roles, please upload a copy of your most recent CV for consideration.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
