Are you an NQT looking for your first teaching role in a school with clear stability and career progression? We have exciting teaching opportunities for Newly Qualified Teachers starting in September 2020 in several local SEN/SEMH Schools.
If you are based in North Hampshire, please apply with your CV today! Teaching Personnel are working with schools across the UK to get them ready for the new academic year. We are looking for Newly Qualified Teachers and intervention specialists for September positions.
It has been a difficult time with COVID-19 school closures for NQTs who have worked hard this academic year to complete their studies in preparation of securing their first role in education. With placements and courses cut short we want to help you secure your first teaching role and be one step ahead in your new career. During this period, we aim to continue with critical recruitment for positions starting in September 2020. In place of interviews, there will be alternative options available where successful applicants should expect telephone or virtual interviews. Our compliance department consistently maintains the highest standards of vetting to ensure that we continually maintain our REC Audited Education Status.
Benefits of working with Teaching Personnel to find your first teaching role:
- Simple and quick route to find school employment during COVID-19 school closures.
- CPD courses available through Best Practice Network, to support NQTs who had training/placements cut short due to coronavirus.
- Access to courses in Pedagogy and Practice, Behaviour, Special Educational Needs (SEN), Professional behaviours, Curriculum and Assessment.
- A dedicated personal consultant who will support with preparation, compliance and on-going guidance once in your new role.
- A large selection of local Special Need (SEN) schools with established relationships with Senior Leadership Teams and Trusts.
All Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply regardless of subject specialism as these can be transferrable; as these specialised schools do require teachers to regularly teach across various subjects. Due to the needs of the children, you will be working alongside Specialist Teaching Assistants, therapy teams and senior leadership to devise bespoke and individual learning programmes for pupils.
This is an invaluable opportunity in local area where you will have direct support in-house from an established SEN school, specialist team and NQT mentors while also having access to CPD and continued personal development both in school and through Teaching Personnel. Having experience on placement in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school or setting is highly beneficial; however, having the right attitude and proactivity to teach SEN learners is what matters most.
Requirements:
- Must have NQT relevant qualifications and be able to teach children in UK schools
- Must be open to teaching children with varied needs including learning and physical needs, and speech and communication difficulties.
- Experience with SEN or EHCP's teacher planning is highly beneficial
- Must be available to start position in September 2020 full-time and video interview prior to September 2020
- Determined, caring, friendly and pro-active personality
To apply, please apply with a brief cover letter and CV. Alternatively, please email your CV to candice.jeanes@teachingpersonnel.com
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
