Job description

A suited role for an expressive arts teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the new academic year.

  • Full time Music Teacher (QTS)
  • Starting September 2021 - Maternity cover
  • Pay in line with teacher pay scale and responsibilities
  • Working at a modern and vibrant secondary school in Bolton (BL1)
  • Teaching a full timetable consisting of Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Music
  • Taking on departmental responsibility including planning and marking
  • Good transport and road links surrounding 

The successful Music teacher will be joining a friendly team of teachers and pupils alike, within a large mainstream secondary school. You will have good classroom management and a have a proven record of successfully raising attainment in the subject. The secondary school prides itself on delivering a student centred education, which is shown within its values and ethos.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
