We aim to engage and inspire students to develop a love of music and their talent as musicians, while striving to increase children's self-confidence, creativity and sense of achievement. As students' progress, we expect them to develop a critical appreciation of music, allowing them to compose and perform, and to listen with discrimination and insight. We are seeking to appoint a passionate and inspiring practitioner to join the Music department from June 2019." Head of Department.
Working as a Music Teacher at our partner school, prospective candidates should be able to teach both KS3 and KS4 lessons. All students awarded scholarships, or studying for GCSE Music, work towards either Associated Board (ABRSM) or Rockschool music performance exams, with many progressing to Grade 8 before they leave high school aged 16.
