Overview of the Role
I am currently working alongside the Deputy Headteacher of a RC Primary School just outside of Chorley. The school are looking for an experienced KS1 Practitioner to teach a mixed Y1/Y2 Class from January 2018. The role will be full time covering a planned absence that will go on until Summer 2018 at least.
The Head his looking for a practitioner who is experienced in differentiating for a variety of needs in the class! The Deputy is not looking necessarily looking for a practicing Catholic, however it is important the successful applicant understands the importance in maintaining the Catholic Ethos in school.
As with all supply work, there may be the possibility of there being a permanent position for you providing you get on well in school. The Deputy and the Head are part of a local cluster of Senior Leaders who work closely together and have assured me they DO recommend teachers to other schools in the surrounding area.
