Good Rated Academy in Hook – Teacher of MFL to start in April 2020
This academy in Hook just outside of Basingstoke is looking to recruit a full qualified teacher of MFL to join them in a permanent capacity. Whilst this position is best suited for a full time applicant part time applicants will be considered. The school are looking for a teacher of French who is also able to teach either German or Spanish on a full time basis this is to start in April or potentially sooner if you are available.
They are looking for a teacher with experience teaching both KS3 and KS4, with a passion and drive to help the pupils in their care reach their full potential both academically and in pastoral roles. The are hoping for a teacher who is willing to collaborate with the MFL department engaging with other members of the faculty and striving to improve and succeed in all aspects of teaching and learning.
Teachers are encouraged to apply for this position at all stages of their career and relevant support and CPD will be provided to allow you to constantly improve in your teaching role. The school pride themselves on understanding the importance of staff wellbeing and will support you in areas you feel you need.
The Perfect candidate :
- Has excellent subject knowledge and strong teaching skills
- Is able to build positive relationships with all learners and is committed to raising attainment of all students
- Will work collaboratively within the MFL team to contribute to the success of the department
- Is willing to commit to extracurricular activities that add value to the school and local community
- Is able to respond positively and creatively to the changing expectations of the subject
