1:1 Tutor – Nottingham (NG18)

Make a Real Difference Through Personalised Learning

Are you passionate about helping students reach their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated 1:1 Tutor to support learners in Nottingham (NG18) through personalised tuition sessions. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who need additional support to build confidence, improve their skills, and re-engage with learning.

Whether you specialise in English, Maths, or general core subjects, your support can have a lasting impact on a student’s educational journey.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering engaging 1:1 tuition sessions tailored to each learner’s needs

  • Supporting students in core subjects such as English and Maths

  • Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and stay motivated

  • Tracking progress and planning next steps to support development

  • Building positive relationships that encourage confidence and independence


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or support roles)

  • Ability to plan engaging and personalised learning sessions

  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills

  • A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach to teaching

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
