MFL Teacher – Rochdale
Are you a Languages Teacher looking for the next step in your career? Do you want to work at a small secondary school in Rochdale?
Teaching Personnel are working alongside one of our client secondary schools based in Rochdale, who are seeking to appoint a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join their Languages department from January 2020. This is exciting opportunity has arisen due to a temporary gap in the department until at least the end of the academic year and due to a strong working relationship with the school, there is an opportunity for the role to turn permanent for the successful candidate.
- MFL Teacher required for a temporary contract
- Role on a fixed term basis (January – July 2020)
- Opportunity for the role to turn permanent for the 2020/21 academic year
- Pay in line with MPS and UPS (GBP24,373-GBP40,490)
- Smaller than average, ‘Good’ secondary school located in Rochdale
- French and Spanish to both KS4 is desirable
Our client school which is located in the Whitworth area of Rochdale is a small mixed comprehensive school with fewer than 700 students currently in attendance. With a positive Progress 8 score, the school ensure that their students perform consistently to high standards and that they make good progress. The school is situated a short walk from a local bus route, and is a short drive from Rochdale town centre.
As a MFL teacher at our client school you will be expected to plan and deliver engaging and fun content that brings the curriculum to life and inspiring the students. The department work collaboratively in order to obtain and utilise the best resources. Ideally, candidates should be able to teach both French and Spanish to up to GCSE level, although other languages will be considered.
